Just after boot CPU's temperature hangs around 50c, but with time, even when idle, it can reach up to 80c I'v tried every fan behaviour (now running readings only), and my Windows' idle temp is about 50c I thought readings might be wrong, but GPU's and HHD's temps are same as in Windows

Hi, Im running sierra 10 12 4 and my cpu temp is around 38-46 c, gpu 36-40c (gtx960ti) I have stock cooler on the cpu My cpu cooler become loud around 40 I have two questions: Are those temps ok for idling ? Is hwmonitor accurate? cheers

Before hackintosh, I used windows for a few days The GPU's fans were spinning at %45 by default(the temperature of the GPU was 35 Celsius, but I am not sure) I watched a bit the fans so I know how fast they were After hackintosh installation, the GPU was louder I observed the fans, they were spinning much more faster

To see if it is a motherboard issue boot into mac and verifiy that the temperature is displayed at 127°C and then reboot into bios Not exactly where or even wether or not there is a cpu temperature display in bios but it would be nice to know if the board reads it wrong or if there is a problem between the os and the sensor
