The best pot values were the stock Fender values IMO It was a great guitar, should have kept it that way String spacing seemed to work fine even though the pickups were a touch narrow for the strat spacing P90's seem to have a big magnetic "grab zone" The Strat quacks great with P90's also

I have one guitar set up with a strat neck PU, and it's really cool because I use a Lace Sensor there so can swap in different tones if I want Lace makes strat pickups that sound like a million different types of PUs - humbucker, P90, 50s Strat, 60s Strat, etc I have their Charlie Christian in my guitar right now and it sounds great
