- DS18B20s or K-Type thermocouples - Homebrew Talk
Which temp sensor is going to give the best performance The DS's have a much narrower range and output directly in centrigrade simple + and - 5 VDC and a digital out The K-Type thermocouples are are 2 wire through the sensor wiring set up with a much larger range Is the large range going
- RTD Thermocouple to XLR Connector to PID Wiring HELP
Im on the last step of wiring up a pretty simple control panel Can someone explain to me how to correctly connect this Uxcell K Type -50C to 260C Temperature Controller RTD Thermocouple Sensor 2M to this Female XLR3 (3 pin) cable connector and if you would be so kind to explain the

- stc 1000 thermocouple type - Homebrew Talk
What thermocouple type is used on the STC 1000 J ? K? etc I believe it is a K type, but am not sure I set my cheap Walmart convection oven up to be controlled by an STC 1000 for kilning home malted barley, but I'm concerned about the plasticized probe though I don't expect really high temps to be use
- Difference PT100 and K probe - Homebrew Talk
Thermocouple- it's a probe that uses two different metals joined at a point (the actual thermocouple), that junction generates a small voltage in relation to the temperature, that's why AJ said they are active There are many types out there with different metals making the probe Most common are type K and type J
- Between Brews: Controlling Gas Fired Burners - Homebrew Talk
This is the thermocouple I used, but you can select longer or shorter sensor lines as required by your configuration: I recommend aluminum gas line to feed the pilot You can buy 1 4 inch aluminum gas line in 60 inch lengths, including both required connectors, for under $10 at many suppliers
- Can I bend an RTD temp probe? - Homebrew Talk
