Title says it all I've never done it but the resistor that makes it work is at the tip so you should be able to bend it further back away from the tip and it should still work but there is a lot of risk there You could kink crack the sheath or pinch the wires or damage the resistor if you bend to close to the tip If you don't mind destroying it I say give it a go
