- Day 3 of BFing and no wet diapers: time for formula?
My milk isn't in yet and it's only Day 3, but Elliana hasn't peed or pooped in 24 hours now Our pedi and the breastfeeding support nurse at the hospital both told me it's time to start giving her a little bit of formula after I nurse today, because she's had a touch of jaundice and we don't want to risk dehydration I'm a little bummed, and worried that there's a problem with my milk

if the line is blue-wet Get used to squeezing the diapers to figure out if they are wet though bc once you move up in size the line is gone! I like to let her diaper get a little use before changing So my other question is what do you consider a wet diaper a diaper used just once can be a wet diaper? Sorry this is silly just the transition from bottles to solids has kind of stressed me out Don't want to dehydtrate her! (Yep irrational sine there's always a sippy of water around)

- Question about bottle refusal and dry diapers in the morning
During the day she has anywhere from 6-10 wet diapers She eats regularily and overall seems pretty happy Oh and she always pees within 15-20 minutes of waking up in the morning I am wondering if she could be mildly dehydrated as she spits up a ton, half the time it feels like she must be spitting up everything she just ate

Take him to the ER then This is not enough wet diapers and I would get him checked out ASAP! I bought a med bummies one and it seems really sturdy (no wet diapers to try it out yet) and I like the zip closure better than the drawstring It is really a great size for the diaper bag too

LOL, I know how you feel I swear we changed my girl's diaper every two hours and the other day she woke up, after sleeping for 5 hours, with a dry diaper I totally freaked out! DH calmed me down Just remember don't worry unless it has been at least a whole day with no wet diapers Yes, enjoy the sleep too My sweet girl woke up at 8am today, she normally gets up at 5:30 It was heavenly
