I'm a UNLV CS alumnus and an Amazon SDE Not a great reputation IIRC, top companies do not recruit at UNLV, so not many UNLV developers make it to top companies But the coursework is sound, and if you're intent on being a solid developer there's nothing holding you back Many of your classmates will not be that ambitious

I don’t think you need to get copies of the syllabus because CSN is one of the feed schools to Unlv and they have all kinds of articulation agreements, so I’m pretty sure they know exactly what the classes that you took are, by just seeing its name I’d be surprised if they need the syllabus

UNLV is a different school There is no sense of community or anything like that However, the experience and everything the school offers is awesome I’ve been offered dozens of jobs because of UNLV and Being in Vegas Vegas is expanding exponentially, Tons of room for growth and new opportunities That you can’t find on the East Coast
