The actual USMLE exams (Step + shelf) are a mixture of both styles Some questions will be UWorld-like (well structured, able to fall back on principles of the basic sciences, etc ), while others will be more practice NBME-like (odd, short, or random)

For those who've received their scores, how did the 120 sample questions (updated 2016) on the USMLE site correlate to the real thing? What score range would 90% correct on those questions translate to, roughly? Also, did anyone else find those questions somewhat challenging compared to the

Like with Step 1 and Step 2 CK, the NBME offers practice materials including a free PDF of sample questions for Step 3 The practice exam was last updated November 2017 and has 137 questions I recently posted explanations for them here Hope they're helpful The questions are absolutely worth

First get ECFMG certification after passing step1, 2 CK and CS--> apply for fellowship --> after that apply for residency in IM--> board certification OR apply for residency and then do fellowship? Please help
