From the start, the game needs to be developed with a modern game engine, such as Unreal or Unity Yeah the license would be expensive, but EQ3 needs to be the new flagship title for DayPaw Both would from what little I know of them, make development and maintenance easy compared to a proprietary custom engine

Look how dcuo was before game update 36 Around the time Paradox and nexus dlc was released and this game would be one of the best if made in unreal engine 5

If I remember correctly, there is a planned graphical upgrade for the new gen, but not a new engine, but the devs are still reticent about this possible switch, which is a shame because Unreal Engine has stated that they have done what is necessary to make the switch to the new engine easier for MMORPG games, But on the one hand, it's understandable since there are a lot of changes and new

Wb has loads of money They funded the Snyder cut and threw out what $7 mil for not much revenue Obviously there is a hardcore dedicated market for dcuo But the game isn’t appealing to majority of gamers Go on twitch who watches dc? It peaks at like 100ish viewers Ok and now go look at the top 5 games rn 500k+ viewers

Has anyone played MUGEN before? I used to go crazy on that game being a SF lover and the SF engine being the driving force behind the game If so, what do you think about a MUGEN game (AKA Marvel vs Capcom vs DC vs SNK vs Unreal vs Everything Else) being put on a platform (yes I"m aware it's highly unrealistic if not impossible)?
