- BritishV8 Forum: Rover V8 Auto transmission options
Joseph, A correction is in order-here 215 Buick and Olds patterns are identicle to Rover V8, only Securing a BW 35 or 60 bell housing, from a Rover V8 vehicle, would make it easier to adapt another make of auto, with a bolt-on BH , like a C4 Cheers, roverman

- BritishV8 Forum: Re: Ford Anglia 105e, Rover V8
the 1198cc engine has been replaced by a 3 5-litre V8 Rover unit, with Edelbrock 1404 Performer carburettor and Mocal remote oil filter kit An LT77 gearbox from a Rover SD1 has been installed, together with Sherpa V8 remote linkage and a rear limited-slip diff, adjustable gas struts on the rear and coilovers from a Mk2 Escort on the front
- BritishV8 Forum: V8 Conversion with a T5 5 speed gearbox
The shifter position on a Chevy Camaro V8 box (like I used) is farther rearward than for a Chevy S10 pickup truck gearbox, so my shifter ended up rearward of the stock MGB shifter hole I can't speak with any certainty about Ford boxes, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn their shifter positions varied between vehicle models too
