FBALX looks to have outperformed VBIAX by very roughly 1 5% on average, but has a much higher expense ratio Any other suggestions for an ETF to replace VBIAX? I would rather follow the lowest expense ratio, but the performance might be worth it in this case Or is there another ETF with low expense ratio AND good performance?

VBIAX is a fine fund in a taxable account if you have exhausted the capacity of tax-deferred accounts to hold your fixed-income allocation and it allows you to reach your asset allocation goals

Howdy, Anyone know of plans for Vanguard to introduce an ETF for VBIAX (Vanguard Balanced Index Fund)? Or a reason why it doesn't exist? I'd like to utilize this fund in some new small accounts and the $3,000 threshold is holding me back I suppose I could make this a la carte
