- r Vans on Reddit: Has anyone had any luck avoiding heel blisters with . . .
Another tip is putting on like 2 pairs of thick socks and squeezing your foot into the shoe… blow dry em so they get nice and warm And then just wear them around the house until they cool off and it helps stretch the shoe a bit I feel like all styles of vans wreck my heels until I can break em in
- How do different brands compare to vans? : r Vans - Reddit
In Vans, I'm an 8 in most of the styles whereas I am a 7 in the classic Converse high tops When I wear Converse, my feet almost are too wide for them (there was a period of time I was running a lot and I actually couldn't wear my Converse because my feet got too wide) yet in Vans, it feels like the length and width are more proportionate and I
- What Vans models do you find most comfortable? : r Vans - Reddit
vans also has slip ons, but they can be a bit tight just in front of the elastics, its a shame too cus they look so sleek with the right outfits Reply reply More replies More replies More replies
- Do people change insoles? Hoping for less feet pain : r Vans - Reddit
its vulcanized construction that uses the grey rubber as a filler bonding material between the upper and the sole, basically gluing it together, as well as the foxing tape holding onto the upper, while im not worried about any pair of vans falling apart after removing the lasting board you are removing part of the structure keeping the shoe together, but its probably gonna be just as durable
- Difference between Vans Ward and Vans Old Skool? : r Vans - Reddit
The vertical stitching above the heel counter is also a bit narrower on the Old Skool The stitching stays above the jazz stripe around the collar on the Ward, but the stitching dips into the jazz stripe on the Old Skool Lastly, the tongue on the Ward has a big Vans label, and the tongue on the Old Skool is blank
- Has Anyone Tested Vans Ultrarange MTE ?? : r hikinggear - Reddit
I've been using Vans Mte hiking shoes for over a year for more laid back hikes I've done 12 mile hike in the Colorado rockies during the summer and they faired well I've also used them when hiking very muddy terrains and no real complaints Not the best traction but decent No complaints when it comes to the waterproofing
- Has anyone tried Vans Ultrarange as their all around shoe?
If you want max comfort from a relatively flat shoe, go for Altra I have a pair of the Altra Torin 6 Cheaper than Vans UltraRange, better neutral arch support, way more cushioning, same 0" heel drop, wider toe box for even more comfort, did I mention that they're CHEAPER than the Vans UltraRange? Love them I'll never wear Ultraranges again
- Quality declining over the years : r Vans - Reddit
The vans are the shoes I wear the least, only when it rains I have a pair of nmd, roshis and running shoes that look almost new with small degradation, all three shoes are much older than the vans and yet the vans look like they went though 100000 miles, but they are my least worn shoes I will never buy vans again ever
