Just an update My doctor and posters (Thanks Jen) were helpful with the decision to stop using Voltaren so I have been just using Aleve probably 440 mg per day I do not use it every day probably every 3rd day before by Remicade treatment which is on the 8th of September For about 2 week

Voltaren gel has worked for my knees, but I have the stuff running out of my ears! Every month and 1 2 my prescription pharmacy would send 15 more tubes of Voltaren so now I have it in boxes on my shelves There is no way I can see myself using all of the gel up at this point!:hehe:

Two quick questions for other Voltaren gel users: - the documentation says not to use a heating pad after applying, I believe because it changes how it enters the bloodstream, but I haven't been able to find any information on how long this ban lasts

I use about 4-6 grams of Voltaren gel daily (topical diclofenac, if you want to get fancy) on my back every 12 hours or so, half in the morning, half at night I can't do oral NSAIDs thanks to having my stomach wrecked by them in the past, like so many of us, so finding the topical version has been a GODSEND
