A family member has a 2017 XC90 T8 that the ERAD went out on and the dealer and Volvo USA refuse to fix it They offered $500 towards a $12,000 repair bill I argued that the 2020 repair manual clearly states that the ERAD is covered under the extended hybrid warranty but since his is a 2017, they won't cover it

However, are easily diagnosed at a shop and would recommend having the car inspected by someone with VIDA DICE to read any codes the car has stored ( vida dice is the volvo diagnostic software Honestly great to have if you are a home wrencher
