VVT is variable Volume temperature, The VVT system relies heavily upon all the distributed zones having similar conditions It is a cheap setup IMO to provice any heat to an area it must stop cooling the others We are not talking about dual duct roght ? VAV controls cooling by controling the volume of air,this also has problems

Hi, Existing zones controllers are CCN VVT(part# 33ZCVVTZC-01 v1 2) We just changed out the carrier package units some has Carrier RTU open bacnet card and others has bacnet UPC open The old package units had a premierlink I've just upgraded the front end from a 4 2 appliance to IVU

I've got a problem, I'm not getting any air flow to ducts (minimal), Actuators are wide open and RTU is running fine this is a CV system with VVT control I noticed the power exhauster blowing out a lot of cold air, so I'm guessing that possibly the bypass is open Any guesses of possibilities

Our company looked at them for a while Business Development team liked to use hot button terms like IOT, cloud and optimization Looking into them their cloud optimization seems to only be auto PID tuning which isnt that special IMO anymore Only thing I told my boss that I saw this for was for revitalizing and retrofitting VVT systems

Now there is a unitary controller that also the same hardware becomes VVT VAV It has simultaneous BACnet,LON,Modbus,OPC, OPC UA, SNMP available Who has a VAV or Unitary that is multi-protocol at that level? Who has the same device with a built in MSTP-IP router?

The balancer identified this as a VVT system which is a lot different than variable volume VAV The VVT does not read airflow and airflow is set by establishing the damper set point percentage that correspond to the as balanced airflow which is only good at the static pressure during balance If the static pressure changes so will the airflow
