In my neck of the woods 8m x 6mm jute rope is kind of standard for shibari type bondage I would recomend having at least six ropes of that length to do floor work If possible I would by from a reputable seller who sell rope for rope bondage specifically But I also adhere to the old adage "The best rope is the one in your hand" - pretty much any rope works in a pinch
