I knew nothing about it when I purchased it and have done a bit of research and found out it's one of the lower production 60's-70's Winchester 22 It's a lever Action Model 255 made between 64'-70' approximately and I think these were considered a really low end 22 for a lot of years but seem to have made a bit of a comeback in the last 5 years

- Winchester SXP problems anyone have an idea about a fix?
So I picked up a brand new Winchester SXP and fired it the other evening Out of the twenty or so shells of assorted Federal and Estate target loads it failed to eject all but 4 shells I'm going to contact Winchester this week, but I would like to know there is a fix or is this a recurring problem in all Super X Pumps or 1300's or 1200's?

Not interested in anything else I seem to remember purchasing the gun in 1959 so it's never been registered I don't think that presents a problem, but you should ask your FFL to be on the safe side This a great opportunity to own a real pre-64 Winchester and have some fun restoring it or put it back together and use it as is
