I'd go with classic, but if you go retail I suggest the following: Start in your racial zone, go through the original zone(s), and once you reach Stormwind or Orgrimmar, when asked or given, go to Chromie and Select Cataclysm timeline It's the closest you can go to 'classic' without playing classic
