Update, I resolved the issue by copying the device (Xerox Printer Model) metadata file into DeviceMetadataCache and DeviceMetadataStore The Xerox Print and Scan Experience checks the DeviceMetadataStore for the Xerox printer details The file was missing, hence Xerox software doesn't know the printer is installed

I think that's the part number for 7845 c8055 Not sure if it's sold or metered toner though Edit: to add onto that, i know that the metered toner is the same part number for both models but the sold toner is a differentcpart number for both so sold toner for 7845 is incompatible for sold c8055 but that shouldn't be the problem here as part numbers are the same
