I think YHM represents one of the best values in the suppressor market I have an R2 and an R9 I love the R9 on my 16” 308 AR No, it’s not hearing safe, but I can choose to wear just ear plugs at the range, instead of plugs and muffs The R2K-30 looks like a better shorty can for that application

Re: YHM Phantom 7 62 QD Review Good to hear the QD works well, Im about to order their 338 Phantom, and they only show it in QD on their site (however, I know they offer them in 5 8-24), but I think Ill go with the QD anyway since the gun is going to be so heavy to start with, itll be nice to take it off real easy to move positions

Re: Question and reviews on YHM Phantom 5 56 and 7 62 To be honest I don't know if it is FA rated, but most don't look for a 7 62 FA can Also for the YHM I never knew they offered the 7 62 in full inconel, and that is only really needed for FA cans The tests, and specs work out better for the AAC and thought I would throw another idea in the mix

Yeah I would like to hear what facts warrented his claim that the YHM Mite sucks I researched and the Mite is a good can for the bucks $250 or so It's also capable of taking apart and cleaning it I got the YHM Mite, YHM 5 56 SS Phantom and the Surefire QD 308 I think they are good choices for the order of importance and money spent

Yep, big and heavy Also, at least mine had a huge POI shift when I replaced the brake on my TRG-42 with the YHM brake and can: ~ 5 5 moa to the 6 o'clock position Accuracy has not suffered though, the rifle is still capable of much better groups than I am One other note

Yep, the Turbo 2 and Resonator 2 have Omega mount threads and are replacing the original cans in YHM's lineup YHM R2 YHM T2 With a TI direct thread mount, the R2 is only an ounce heavier than a Dead Air Nomad, and sports an Inconel blast baffle The T2 is very light, with similar construction, and there is supposedly a Resonator K on the way
