Some of this may stem from the fact that the Yaesu radios are indeed made in Japan while the accessories for them are often made in China My FT-857D is made in Japan while the stock MH-31 microphone it came with is made in China as is a lot of other smaller items from Yaesu Does not make sense to me but it must to someone

Hello new member here I have a Yaesu FT-DX10 was wondering if anyone wide-banded or did the mars mod I have the radio schematics just did a search for them and found em, checked out the JP1006 on Page 34 to see what it was in the FT-DX10 schematics and Seen Guys do a Solder Bridge to the Two Points of the JP1006 that are very close together

I have used the ADMS software for my Yaesu FT-857 as well as my Kenwood TM-V71A Both work great for programming and are quite easy to use You must first copy from the radio to the computer before writing into memory however Some people miss that and can't understand why they have a problem

Just purchased a Yaesu FT-100D Everything on the the radio seems to work fine , output power is within spec and is dead on frequency The radio just has muffled , distorted modulation and almost reverb echo sounding also I did the mic mod and also replace the mic with a new one
