After watching the YouTube videos on some success using B12 Chemtool, I decided to give it a shot Here is what I did: 6 2 24 - 135832 miles B12 Chemtool piston soak, then oil change 6 30 24 - 135860 miles Changed oil again to remove any residual Chemtool and any debris that might have come loose from the Chemtool circulating in the system

I keep seeing "B12 Chemtool" on the shelf by Berryman next to the Seafoam and notic that it costs 1 3 the price of Seafoam I also hear it is stronger than Seafoam From what i know, its a pretty strong solvent (Seems B12 is "strong," Seafoam is "somewhat strong," MMO is "weak" by comparison )

FWIW, Berryman B-12 Chemtool "Injector Cleaner" part # 1112 does have PEA as one of the ingredients I've done a little research I've check the MSDS on two different injector cleaner products and both show 30-50% PEA One is the Redline SI-1 and the other is 3M Max strength fuel system cleaner

B12 Chemtool is full of very strong solvents, so I wouldn't want to risk damaging any coatings in the air plenum I have used the liquid seafoam as an induction cleaner a few times You just need to trickle it in slow over about 30 minutes or the entire can

My mechanic filled me in on the Berryman's B-12 Chemtool I was also told that the deposits in the end cap come from the combination of oil vapor from the PCV system and the carbon from the EGR system I also found that it may take a couple of tanks of treated gasoline to clean the injectors up
