Is the [X] that occurs in Spanish from the central northern part of Spain an uvular trill or a uvular fricative? In two of my textbooks for class (La voz and Introduccion a la linguistica espanola), they list [X] as a trill However, I have found two other sources that list it as a fricative

Judging by the above posts (all AmE), I'd say YES, there does appear to be a difference "Bye-bye" is one of the many variants often heard in BrE (and I've heard it used in AusE, NZE, IndE, IrE) — but I've never heard it associated with being childish, gay, effeminate or patronising, nor being used essentially by grandmothers, nor used specifically to toddlers or infants

OK, Latin is definitely not my strong suit, but I have friends I can call on, and have done a bit of digging Since "vitae" means "of life" and "vitarum" means "of lives", neither seems inherently inappropriate "Courses of life" (as in life in general) is just as acceptable as "courses of lives" (as in multiple specific lives)
