My biggest reason for considering the 458 Socom over the other similar cartridges is that I already own a Sico Hybrid so I can shoot it suppressed There are lots of bullet choices in the 400-600 grain range and that is an enormous hunk of subsonic lead! FWIW, GRT has a 458 Socom model loaded, and puts the max at about 30gn, so you're in the ballpark for starting at 26 I went 50beo instead of 458 (and kinda wish I did socom) and, like in revolvers, H110 seems to do best driven towards the hot side
