suggest是动词 somebody是代词 一个简单句只有一个动词，所以somebody后面的动词需要转变为非谓语形态，即你所谓的doing。 又因为，动词后接宾语从句，构造复合句，suggest这个词涉及到虚拟语气 should，实践中that should可省略，于是得到你所谓的do。
