- Frozen screen when using GoToMyPC when Monitors Off
We have a user that is using GoToMyPC to remote into her new windows 10 office desktop We showed her how to use the blank screen option, but due to the work she does, she wants to have her monitors turned off when she not in the office Which leads to our issue For some reason, if the monitors are turned off, when she remotes in, she gets a static picture If we turn the monitors back on

Hey all, trying to figure out a way to use my local PC with 2 monitors attached to remote into a PC elsewhere with no monitors attached I want them as two individual monitors and not spanned or anything Both PCs are on Windows 7 and both PCs have a dual monitor capable video card in them I tried gotomypc with no luck I tried RDP with the ‘use all my monitors’ checked I tried plugging in

We have a user going to China who asked if they were allowed remote in while away I was given short notice about this as well so I couldn’t think through safety precautions So my answer was no We have remote traffic blocked from China already through our firewall as well What would your answer have been?

I have about a dozen users that remotely work from home We’ve been using GoToMyPC for years, and I thought I should at least look at something else since I’m at contract renewal Does Logmein have central management like GoTo? Are there audit trail reports? Would love to read your comments

Greetings Spiceheads, I have came across a problem where two of my users are unable to restart shutdown their computer They both are on Windows 10 and both do not have the option to shutdown or restart under the start menu Things I have tried → opened local group policy and changed Remove and prevent access to Shut Down, Restart, Sleep and Hibernate option to Disabled added registry key

GotoMyPc corporate connected to a VM on prem or just the user’s normal desktop would probably work better given your connection speeds I used to think Gotomypc was a hokey remote access solution but we used it for about 10 people at a shop I ran a few years ago and it actually made my life a lot easier from a sysadmin point of view

Here is a screenshot of the colour I get, no matter the type of device I used different servers, desktops, mobile phones, tablets - all looking like this: All Windows devices - RDP-Tcp ColourDepth in registry is set to Hexadecimal value 5 This happened suddenly and it has been months that I have this problem
