Does anyone know if the XCI get modified after being loaded into an emulator? I'm having toruble with the emulator recognizing it The first time around it recognized it But after a reinstall it no longer shows up Could the file have been altered by the emulator so it's no longer valid with a reinstall?

Xci are games files dumped from a cartridge They are almost always just the base game Nsp are files from the Nintendo eShop, so they can be the base game, but also updates or dlc

I've been dying to play Splat 3 and the new pokemon games but only the xci has come out and I've only ever used NSPs as I use goldleaf to install my games instead of Tinfoil Should i be using Tinfoil for everything or is there a way I can install xci with Goldleaf? any help would be appreciated !

Custom XCI's have all the updates and DLC built in They are for people who want to have an external hard drive jukebox of games to play without having anything installed I've seen scripts where people routinely automatically update their custom XCI'S In reality, most people aren't going to want to deal with that

There is not that much difference in the performance, but the difference is that xci, is a physical release, but nsp is a digital release, witch basically means, if you got a digital only game, there is no xci version

Switch-xci and Ziperto are my go to Then I use real-debrid to get the uptobox links to dl faster, or a VPN and 1fichier I also sometimes get some stuff from r SwitchNSPs
