Are the Rockets really keeping Jalen Green as a core piece? The only one truly freelancing or who Udoka allows to break with it is Jalen Green And when Jalen doesn't have it going, he gets benched whether it's for Eason, Holiday or Tate Jabari is going to get more offensive responsibility, but Udoka is prioritizing winning and defense over making sure these young dudes have high counting stats
Jalen Greens value - Page 2 - RealGM Jalen Green, 2024 BKN 1st, 2026 BKN 1st for Mikal, 2025 PHX 1st, 2027 PHI 1st (top 8 prot), 2027 PHX 1st yeah that's even better for Brooklyn I like it for both teams even if I don't think Houston should trade Green in the first place

Jalen Green or Sengun going forward? - RealGM Jalen Green would benefit from playing on a team that loves to run and he doesn't have to do anything but score He's a throwback SG 2000s SG He isn't a heliocentric playmaker He probably will never be able to run a team but he can score 40 in a row I don't think the NBA values players like Jalen Green anymore

The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 2 - Page 45 - RealGM Vassell has a higher floor but Jalen Green has a higher ceiling If we have to take back a veteran player with a high salary the Rockets have FVV and Dillon Brooks who are better than any of Harrison Barnes or Keldon Johnson
The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 2 - Page 55 - RealGM We have seen Green in the playoffs and he has been terrible at best Rockets want to dump him and I don't think he is a good prospect For me - Green would have to be a part of a bigger deal -- 3+ team -- with Booker, they don't need Green
