QH in dressage? - The Horse Forum How do QH's generally do in Dressage? I know it's more of a Saddlebred Thoroughbred Warmblood dominated sport, but I've always thought it to be quite beautiful and would like to train in it (though, I do sometimes think it's a bit to stiff) I want to really train alot with my little QH filly

Mare to Stallion Size - The Horse Forum Yep, got a Belgian mare that is a little over 17 hands and she had been bred to a barely 14 hand QH Now the baby is a yearling and standing at 15 hands Sometimes you will get a structural crop-out even from same-size matings At an Appy show farm my Dad used to work at, there was an appy mare and stud that both stood a little over 14 hands

Difference between quarter horses and Paints? - The Horse Forum Paints and qh are relitively new breeds the registries for both allow out crossing (as mentioned) with each other and thoroughbreds, as long as the offspring meets color qualifications the breeds themselves are still evolving
Morgan x Quarter Horse - The Horse Forum QH - depending on the work they are bred for - are generally believed to be a pretty calm, level-headed breed E g race or cutting bred QH are a bit more feisty than halter or WP bred ones Of course, it's always an individual decision If you are seriously interested, I would just go take a look at that horse
