Manufactories required for missions - Paradox Interactive Forums Hello all, I was reading some mission descriptions, and quite some require for a manufactory to be built Now I was wondering, do Ramparts Impressment offices State houses and or soldiers households count for the requirements of these missions
Is the new Economic Idea +1 dev from manufactories working or am I . . . I specifically waited to build any manufactories and then began to spam ramparts in all of my castle provinces, but none of their dev went up It it specifically the trade good manufactures that increase dev, or am I missing something here?
A suggestion for the rampart can only be build in flatlands Or do you want only you to be able to build ramparts in the mountains and not others? What is the purpose of the ban? There are more than enough existing soft restrictions, why introduce new ones? In multiplayer, you can always agree on a ban on the session, if necessary
Is Ancient rampart worth using? | Paradox Interactive Forums Citadel base HP is 80000 and armor 40000 6 gun torpedo hangar module vs 6 ancient ramparts will increse it to: 128000 hp 64000 armor vs 152000 hp 88000 armor Tho remember that platforms breaks like poorely constructed lego wall, and most of those additional platforms will be destroyed by crisis AE alpha strike So is it worth to use it?
Ramparts dice roll advantage - Paradox Interactive Forums I like to use ramparts mostly because of the dice roll advantage I noticed if I put it on a fort province it works as expected when I attack the attackers I get the dice roll advantage When I put ramparts on a province with no fort the enemy
Ramparts - Paradox Interactive Forums I really like the myriad of new manufactories in 1 3, but since the ramparts don't actually produce anything like all the other types (production, manpower, sailors etc) then shouldn't they be in the same section as the coastal defences
Buildings and development strategy for tall play There are circumstances where ramparts are strategically worthwhile to slow down the enemy, such as the mountain passes in the Alps or Gibraltar I can't think of a use case for coastal defenses Build a bigger and stronger navy instead They might be slightly worthwhile if you have few coastal provinces and or a limited naval forcelimit
Archaeotechnologies: the good, bad, and ugly - Paradox Interactive Forums They still aren't good - DPs scale with tech but so do normal combat modules, and DPs are never actually durable - but it's a huge difference to have +30% damage and durability on your DPs because you stacked a bunch of Ramparts Overall, I think this is conceptually a really superb addition to the game However, it needs a lot of work
Archaeotechs and their quality (collaborative, contains arguable . . . Ancient Armor + Ramparts seems pretty good to have when you want to make a starbase that can hold out against huge fleets Defense platforms are honestly super cheap by the mid to late game compared to their value, the only reason not to spam them on bastions is that it requires a lot of clicking
