Mastodon or Tusky? : r Mastodon - Reddit Tusky is fully compliant with the ActivityPub protocol, whereas the official Mastodon app is tailored for use with Mastodon servers and their server index at joinmastodon org I'd say use Tusky The official app looks nice, but isn't a full window into the Fediverse and it's missing features
What is your favourite Mastodon app : r androidapps - Reddit Tusky feels like a Twitter-ish interface and is familiar and easy to navigate It seems to be pretty feature-rich, although I cannot edit comments or post gifs directly from the UI like I can on the web version, which is annoying at times
Comparison of Mastodon apps? : r Mastodon - Reddit I use Tusky, which is nice I can use Fdroid to get it instead of the playstore, which is also great Many people on the distributed socials like Mastadon don't use yputube for the same reason they don't use twitter -- most people use the decentralized PeerTube
Best Mastodon Android app? : r Mastodon - Reddit Tusky is quite nice, and doesn't do weird things with layout and terminology like the official app, but the web app is really good and doesn't have any compromises
Follow hashtag using Tusky : r Mastodon - Reddit The ability to follow a hashtag was only recently added to the server software Literally in the past week It will take some time for every server to upgrade from the old 3 x software to the new 4 x software to support the ability It will take some time for apps to be updated to support the ability I haven't used the Tusky app yet, so I don't know if it supports following hash tags yet
Multiple Servers on Mastodon App : r Mastodon - Reddit Hello, Is it possible to view toggle between multiple servers like on a Reddit app? I am new to Mastodon and I can't find an answer anywhere on the web Thanks so much
How to view other instances? : r PixelFed - Reddit To ‘follow’ a user on another instance, the easiest way is using a fediverse compliant app - say Fedilab, Tusky etc You can search for users and follow them just like any other account Just like e-mail, you need to know their ‘handle’ to find them on the other instance
