06 DTS no crank when key turned to start - Cadillac Forums The only way to get to the starter and or "test" it is to remove the intake manifold - after you have checked as much of the electrical stuff you can get to - relays, fuses, connectors, terminals, etc If you hear clicks when the key is turned to START that pretty much rules out the ignition switch itself Follow the service manual advice in para 2 of Post #9 Several hoops to jump through
