Can I switch license plates between cars I own? I have been wondering about this since the last time I bought a new car and sold my other one I transferred the plate to the new one and gave the car to my wife and drive her old one (bigger) In fact I like my plate 7xx xxx which I had it for many years She likes her plate because mine is a bit rusted
Apparently in Ontario, you can simply put your old plate on your newly . . . I picked up a "new-to-me" car yesterday Because it was from out of town (flew to pick it up) and I wanted to minimize exposure and I just wanted to get home as soon as possible, I decided to simply put the old plate from a car I sold this summer on the new car and drive it like that (thinking that the chances of getting stopped were minimal)
