- Shaw Support Is it possible that the Shaw Pod is getting a less-than-optimal signal from the XB8, which causes the slower stream? Power-off the Shaw Pod, thentake your iPad to be physically near the XB8, and connect to the XB8's WiFi, and then move the iPad to the room where the Shaw Pod is offline, to see what speed your iPad gets at that location?

How em. . . - Shaw Support My Shaw service has gone completely downhill since Rogers took over a few weeks ago My internet connection is constantly turning off It was great before, but now that Rogers is in charge, it has been horrible Customer service is now non-existent at both companies I am heading to Telus It certainly cannot be this bad there 0 Kudos Reply Reply
is the power light on? Try power cycling the box. - Shaw Support I then connect the Bluecurve feed to the AV Receiver input, and the TV to the AV Receiver output The TV receives no picture or sound from the Bluecurve - When I reboot the Bluecurve box by removing and reinserting the power cord, the WELCOME message shows up on the TV but nothing more after this but a blue screen
I had the same issue, I just switched from Telus to Shaw. . . It would connect to the same ssid that my phone was but my phone couldn’t recognize the printer I messaged the people at Shaw, they did a reset of the modem which did not work, but then they suggested a factory reset by pressing the button on the back of the modem for 30 seconds After it reset my devices finally recognized the printer
Re: Disable hidden SSID broadcasts - Shaw Support I only connect to my Shaw XB6 via ethernet cable and always have WiFi off My router was emitting HUGE amounts of wireless radiation so I called Shaw numerous times to ask why this must be as radiation levels that high could only be coming from wireless broadcasting

wrote: it will not connect to your Wi-Fi tower Tr. . . - Shaw Support True Those Rogers Shaw WiFi boxes connect only to the cable-modem inside your residence (and maybe to your immediate neighbour's cable-modem, if you live in a MURB [Multiple Unit Residential Building]) If it were not true, then anybody with one of those WiFi boxes could connect via WiFi to ShawOpen RogersOpen, and get "free" TV channels
