Anydesk forcing to run as a system service on Windows now?!? - Reddit Anydesk never ran in the background on my desktop machine, I'm very careful about that kind of thing I have a full install, and in the past all I've had to do is open up the Anydesk window, or shortcut directly to another machine, I could use the window and then when I closed it, the entire operation closed and it did not run in the background
Solution for error: Could not connect to AnyDesk network Edit: I spent about 10 hours trying to get anydesk to work I have connected with one machine I still have another to do Edit2: I now have both machines connected I'm thinking of approaching anydesk (Twitter) about it being located on their help desk page
Older versions of AnyDesk from reliable sources : r AnyDesk - Reddit Dear AnyDesk Sales Dude, I just wanna connect to my personal devices on the same local network in a way that's less annoying with a bit better UI than using built in RDP I'm not doing it for work, sales, or profit
anydesk vs teamviewer : r sysadmin - Reddit But if we'd switch from AnyDesk to TeamViewer, we'd pay about three times as much So considering that AnyDesk works pretty well (don't know if there's something TV does better because I haven't used it in quite some time) and afaik didn't have the kind of security breach that TV had I really don't know why I'd want to pay 3x the price for TV ;-)
