The Arabian jasmine is { Jasminum Sambac}, and, with { Jasminum angustifolia}, comes from the East Indies. The yellow false jasmine in the { Gelseminum sempervirens} ( see { Gelsemium}). Several other plants are called jasmine in the West Indies, as species of { Calotropis} and { Faramea}.
