New Arctic P12 Max fan. 3 for price of 1 Noctua. No downsides? That being said, for my Noctua NH-D15, I have two Noctua A12x25s I saw a youtube review (may be the on in the OP or not), but it showed that this new fan has a signfincantly higher max RPM than the normal P12
Noctua NH-D15 chromax. Black - Fan Noise | [H]ard|Forum No room for a pencil, thin metal at best I'm going to swap it out for the Noctua NH-U12A a pencil is skinnier that the pcie slot you snake it up behind the card and use the eraser to push the lever down unless there are a tonne of m2 or chipset heatsinks in the way
Air Cooling a 14900K | [H]ard|Forum Noctua NH-U12A Right now that is the cooler I have now always have to look it up because I forget the number I paid like 120 00 for it but if the 14900K is better silcone "Runs Cooler" than the 14700K I would take a chance on the 14900K
High Powered 120mm fans in 2025? - [H]ard|Forum I paid almost that for the Noctua IPPC's I don't think that's too bad of a price I mean, it's definitely at the upper end of the price range for consumer case fans, but these are also premium positioned consumer case fans, so that kind of makes sense
47mm coolers in 2024? | [H]ard|Forum Currently using a axp-90r (full copper) with a noctua fan which shaves it down to 46mm and really improved the noise profile Looks like the axp-90 x47 is the same thing, but less sketchy mounting and flipped 90 degreees so the fins are parallel to ram instead of perpindicular
7950X3D - AM5 frame (Thermalright ThermalGrizzly), offset mounting . . . Not saying this is a legit source () but quite a few Amazon reviews mention a few degrees temp improvement with the Thermalright socket frame So if you believe that plus Noctua's claims about offset mounts, then the temp reductions would seem pretty worthwhile for a couple of small tweaks
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Mini | [H]ard|Forum May be a good option if you can't afford the noctua, it probably performs similarly If it performs similar then it'd have nothing to do with not being able to afford Noctua Paying 2x more on a similar air cooler is a bit silly
current best air coolers | [H]ard|Forum The one that competes and even beats the Noctua d15 for less than half it's price? Frost Commander is a bigger Peerless Assassin Frost Spirit 140 is also extremely similar, but with one less heatpipe than the Frost Commander I'm still using the Le Grand Macho RT in my 3950X build Looks like its been discontinued for the dual tower designs
