Anyone getting good accuracy out of TAC in 223? - AR15. COM So far, TAC has been pretty atrocious in my WOA 20" Predator barrel MP518 (Staball Match) routinely gets me under 1", but TAC has been more like 1 5-2 5" groups Before writing off TAC altogether: Is it more accurate at lower velocities? Most of my loads have been pretty hot, but maybe it likes running a little slower? I've tried 77 69 52 SMKs, 77gr Barnes Matchburners, 75gr Hornady BTHP, and
TAC load data for . 223 and 5. 56 from the source - AR15. COM My plinking load for 55 gr pills out of a 16" 1 in 7 twist is 25 3 gr TAC and a CCI 400 which chronos at 2700fps The initial Ramshot data placed this load as a MAX load which it obviously wasn't 25 3 grains is just barely above the start load in the new data but then again these new specs are for an M-193 power load not a plinking load

Ramshot Tac and . 223 gt; Reloading gt; AR15. COM I've used TAC, mostly with Sierra and Hornady bullets in the 65-75 grain range in Colt 1 in 7" barrels Flows well through a measure and generally provides good accuracy, but I've usually found H4895 will make at least slightly more accurate loads
Any good load data for a 75 grain Hornday . 223? - AR15. COM I've found that Ramshot TAC powder works very well with Hornaday's bullets in my RRA, Wylde Chambered, 1:9 A-4 AR using a few 1 10ths grain under max charge in my 5 56 X 45 MM NATO level loads (where my rifle's accuracy node is) Surprisingly, my rifle likes Hornady and TAC better than Sierra and Varget Go figure
