COM TAC is my base powder in 223, and it’s the first powder I try when testing a new bullet It can give fantastic velocity all of the time and great accuracy some of the time In 223, there is typically a 2 gr window in the 5 56 pressure range when SD’s will be single digits

COM TAC and 80 gr bullets has become my fast match load Throw 23 5 gr of TAC with a Rem 71 2 behind a Sierra or Nosler 80 works remarkably well in every AR and 1 7 twist bolt action I have tried it in My wife's gun loves it 2230 is one of my favorites for 50 to 69 gr bullets Would probably be my first choice, but I voted for 335 of those listed

COM I followed the V-TAC instructions for the actual barricade but I wanted something that broke down for transport and storage better So I glued the 2x4 uprights to the plywood, then bult separate triangular leg assemblies that bolt to it It's pretty sturdy too, which I like Moreso than most of the variations I saw on YouTube

COM Funny you ask, I'm working up a 62gr SS109 plinking load with Tac tonight Currently throwing 24 5gr of CFE in the 62gr loadings for plinking Mild, ballpark accurate loading thats GTG for plinking I want to try a few faster powders since most of my plinking is done from a 10" SBR so there isn't much time for a good powder burn
Ramshot TAC and . 308 168 grains gt; Reloading gt; AR15. COM I tried TAC in my M700 Varmint Silhouette in 308 I always use Sierra 168's I just couldn't get groups as good as using WW748 I bought the TAC when 335 wasn't available for my 223 loads I use it mostly for blasting ammo for the AR's It still holds decent groups, but I can still get Hodgdon and WW to shoot better in my guns
Best powders for particular grain ranges of bullets in 223 556 - Your . . . TAC throws with SD = 0 014 gr, however, this low dispersion of charge weight does not show up as low dispersion in muzzle velocity (VBarget has lower MV SD than TAC) The accuracy and SD numbers given above are for large sample tests (# of samples, n>20, typically about 100 samples)
