P. question for those whove shortened their shotgun: I personally prefer a nice cushy recoil pad OK, the way we load usually results in light recoil but I'm a card carrying recoil wimp so I cut my shotguns to allow for a nice thick Pachmyer(sp) recoil pad They are usually just sticky enough to keep the shotgun steady instead of sliding around Personal Preference here
