Muskies in the Mississippi? - Mississippi River – General Discussion . . . We were fishing walleye’s I think it was a fluke but you’ll have to ask Rob it was his rod that got it He might have been fishin for em I think it was about 6 or 7 lbs I got a picture some where But that was my only Muskie I have ever caught on the Mississippi…All my Muskie’s have come on Northern lakes
Pool 2 Report (2025) - Mississippi River – Walleye - In-Depth Outdoors Right near the boat launch isn’t a bad spot Across the river along the rip rap near the dam is a good cold water spot It’s a little dicey making that walk though Come March and through April the shore bite really picks up The dam all the way to the confluence has good shore fishing then Thanks for the info!
