impedance    音標拼音: [ɪmp'idəns]
n. 阻抗

impedance
n 1: a material's opposition to the flow of electric current;
measured in ohms [synonym: {electric resistance}, {electrical
resistance}, {impedance}, {resistance}, {resistivity},
{ohmic resistance}]

Impedance \Im*ped"ance\, n. [Impede -ance.] (Elec.)
The apparent resistance in an electric circuit to the flow of
an alternating current, analogous to the actual electrical
resistance to a direct current, being the ratio of
electromotive force to the current. It is equal to root{R^{2}
X^{2}}, where R = ohmic resistance, X = reactance. For an
inductive circuit, X = 2[pi]fL, where f = frequency and L =
self-inductance; for a circuit with capacity X = 1 [div]
2[pi]fC, where C = capacity.

  • Electrical impedance - Wikipedia
    Impedance extends the concept of resistance to alternating current (AC) circuits, and possesses both magnitude and phase, unlike resistance, which has only magnitude Impedance can be represented as a complex number, with the same units as resistance, for which the SI unit is the ohm (Ω)
  • Electrical Impedance: What is it? (Types Examples)
    This page is about the impedance of an electrical circuit The page shows the basic definition of impedance, physical significance of impedances and representation of different forms of impedance, including impedances of series and parallel RL, RC and RLC circuits
  • Electrical impedance | Definition, Symbol, Units, Facts - Britannica
    Electrical impedance, measure of the total opposition that a circuit or a part of a circuit presents to electric current Impedance includes both resistance and reactance
  • What is Impedance? AC Circuit Analysis and Design - Rohm
    In an AC circuit, impedance is defined as the ratio of the voltage across a circuit element to the current flowing through that element The critical point here is that, unlike a simple resistance, impedance has frequency-dependent characteristics A resistor dissipates energy as heat
  • What Is Impedance: Formula, Resistance, Reactance In AC
    Impedance is the total opposition that an alternating current (AC) circuit presents to the flow of electric current, combining resistance and reactance into a single quantity measured in ohms (Ω)
  • Impedance and Complex AC Impedance - Basic Electronics Tutorials and . . .
    Impedance combines resistance (R) and reactance (X) into one single complex number In a Direct Current, or DC Circuit, the opposition to current flow is simply called Resistance (R)
  • How to Calculate Impedance: 10 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow
    Impedance is the opposition of a circuit to alternating current It's measured in ohms To calculate impedance, you must know the value of all resistors and the impedance of all inductors and capacitors, which offer varying amounts of
  • What Is Electrical Impedance and How Does It Work?
    Impedance is a combination of two components: resistance and reactance, and it is measured in ohms ($\Omega$) Unlike fixed resistance, impedance depends on the frequency of the AC signal passing through the circuit
  • What is Impedance? - Learning about Electronics
    Impedance is the amount of resistance that a component offers to current flow in a circuit at a specific frequency In this article, we'll talk about how impedance is similar to and how it differs from just plain resistance
  • What is Impedance and How is it Different from Resistance?
    Impedance is the total opposition to current flow in an AC circuit, combining resistance with reactance—the frequency-dependent opposition created by capacitors and inductors
