Trencher \Trench"er\, n. [OE. trencheoir, F. tranchoir, fr.
trancher to cut, carve. See {Trench}, v. t.]
1. One who trenches; esp., one who cuts or digs ditches.

2. A large wooden plate or platter, as for table use.
