The first few days of Midnight max-level play have given us data and feedback needed to make our first tuning pass, with the goal of reducing outliers We will continue to keep a close eye on class balance as both Heroic week and week 1 of the PvP season start, and players continue to gain gear and begin using tier sets Classes Death Knight Blood Deathbringer: Reaper's Mark damage increased
Unholy Death Knight still too strong - Death Knight - World of Warcraft . . . Unholy DK is still way too strong in PvP Arena I’ve seen 1 Unholy DK take down 2 players easily with survivability and ridiculous damage I have a level 80 DK, guess I’m going to have to level him up to 90 and join in on all the fun roflstomping everyone in PvP Fleetwood-402465 (Fleetwood) March 21, 2026, 12:06am 2
Unholy DK Putrify Bug - Pit of Saron - Bug Report - World of Warcraft . . . During the fight with Ick and Krick, I noticed that Putrify (both the button press and the proc from dread plague ticks), do not do damage to the big guy I’m not positive if they don’t do damage to the small totems, however this is a big damage nerf for just this fight
[Midnight] Frost Unholy Feedback + Talent Suggestions UPDATED: 10-8-25 The Midnight changes to Frost Unholy bring some good things and some problematic things So far, I’m not a fan of the Apex talents; I feel like they could pigeon hole you into certain gameplay I get that you want a hook, but I’m not sure why more regular talents wasn’t just fine? Over all, the changes are another step forward, but there can be much more done to make
Unholy DK After Feb 17–18 Tuning — Observations and a Request for . . . Unholy feels significantly weaker after the Feb 17–18 tuning Overall damage reductions are translating into roughly ~20% DPS loss in practice, and the spec is unusually punishing to short uptime drops I ran a +20 Gambit with a Destruction Warlock and a Devastation DH and consistently trailed them by a large margin I’m asking for clarification on whether the current live build matches
DK ruined across the bord in patch and Beta over nerf So I lack the Dev understanding, Unholy were rank 3-5 in DPS mid top 3 S tier in Beta and live by most all analytics and sites, not necessarily over performing Frost was 7-9th so a little underperforming Blood was trashed Now in Beta and currently Unholy was destroyed to 11-15th with 50% nerfs and pet Nerfs “Almost” all caster classes now S tier, Hunters maintain multiple S-A tier
Unholy DK Hidden Artifact Appearance is FIXED Posting for visibility After 18 months both Army of the Dead and Apocalypse can now spawn the special ghoul needed to trigger the hidden artifact On Lemix there’s a new trapdoor shortcut to ICC (near Nazgrim on the first floor of Archerus, to the right side as you enter–set raid size to 10 and loot spec to unholy for the trapdoor to work–credit to Abyssinia) How to get The Bonereaper
San Layn Unholy Mythic Plus Meta - us. forums. blizzard. com This could not be better Everyone knows san layn is a much more fun playstyle, a much more involved and skill based hero talent set I actually feel like San Layn feels pretty dang nice, almost as good as it did in war within festering wound dk Very excited for the rest of the mythic plus season This is a great development
