Why does this current limiter oscillate? - Forum for Electronics It doesn't oscillate as long as the output resistance is high enough (Vs_TEY to GND), but it starts to oscillate when the output resistance gets somewhere below 100Ohms I've though of increasing the gain by using a PNP instead, but I would rather find a solution that works well with a fet as a bipolar transistor would need a constant base
LC VCO doesnt oscillate in transient analysis Can anyone comment on how to get the LC VCO to oscillate in transient analysis please? Initial conditions are set, and PSS Pnoise works fine But in transient analysis VCO simply doesn't oscillate Thank you
Oscillators using Op. Amp. How they start to oscillate well to start an oscillator the gain around the loop should be greater than 1 but as soon as the oscillation starts the gain around the loop should drop to 1 this can be done in a number of ways it could be done by using a simple variable resistor turn the pot a few turns so that the gain is greater than 1 and then turn it back once the oscillations have started the oscillator actually
[SOLVED] - VCO Does not oscillate - Forum for Electronics Replace the L12 100nH inductor with bigger value (e g 1uH) and the VCO will oscillate But you have to pick-up the output signal from the emitter, not from the collector, as it is now Using LTspice I get steady oscillation arround 145 MHz, using the values and components in the picture attached
ring oscillator question - Forum for Electronics I was trying to build a ring oscillator on Pspice, but it doesn't oscillate (I posted the output waveform) PMOS, NMOS L is 0 2um, and Pmos W=4um, Nmos W=1 8um If you know what the problem is, please give me an advice Thank you
SA602 colpitts oscillator help needed | Forum for Electronics There should be no problem getting this to oscillate I used a later version NE612 and a 10 7 MHz crystal filter connected as shown, and it worked without any problems The probe is on the base (pin 6) On the emitter, the amplitude is a bit less Many years ago, I experimented a lot with the 612 and 614 5 making transceivers
VCO simulation: how to get the output to oscillate? Re: VCO simulation Thanks for the explaination I am using triple feedback ICO structure I managed to get the Oscillation yesterday when i initialise some of the feedback loop but today when I try to get back the osc, it didnt work
[SOLVED] - PIC18F47J53 Crystal does not oscillate - Forum for Electronics Hello, Refering to PIC18F47J53 datasheet it can be clocked up to 48MHz, but I can't make it to work with such frequency crystal I'll explain everything from the begining: I set oscillator to be in HS mode and CPU clock division to be 1:1 So, the CPU clock should be 48MHz (with 48MHz crystal)
how to make crystal work at the third overtone? There is not need to be exact frequency to it work, crystal will do the job Only select the nearest coil and capacitor to get your desired frequency If that frequency is a multiple of crystal main frequency it will oscillate For your example, choose: L = 1uHY -> You can buy a inductor with this value
