says its 100% but its not - Adobe Illustrator - Creative COW Illustrator groups the shapes together even though one shape is no longer there All you need to do is select the image and ungroup (Command Shift G) and then the opacity will show up properly as not 100% I hope this helps somebody! I have Illustrator 5 so maybe they’ve fixed it in Illustrator 6 – I hope so!

effects stylise roundcorners is missing - Adobe Illustrator - Creative COW Here’s my guess as to whats happening In some preference somewhere, there is a radius distance set I do have additional points along the spline that would be in the way of a rounding on a corner given that “preference” distance, so Ai wont’ give me the radius corner dialogue to change a hard corner But the rad I’m putting on my points is much smaller than the preference distance
Saving Illustrator file as PDF washes out colors and loses outer glow So, I’ve just completed a project made in Illustrator When I save it as a PDF and open it in Adobe Acrobat Professional and Preview on my Mac, the colors appear to be washed out The text is no longer a deep black and looks rather gray Also, the outer glow doesn’t seem to be there anymore
