The wheel in the photo has about 2 hours work into it with SOS pads and a hand polishing with wenol Have any of you guys come up with a trick way of making these old dogs look good? Maybe sand blasting lightly and a coat of variprime to do a cool paint job or perhaps some powdercoating? Maybe they'll be a good platform for some full moon discs
How are you guys bringing old chrome back to life? I use SOS soap pads and water on rougher pieces, some light scratching doesnt really bother me tho, on a piece thats gonna be a little rough reguardless, It will at least look better I have also been known to spot in a little silver chrome paint in a small area where chrome is missing,then kind of feather back into the edges of the spot,with the SOS pad taking the overpray off the actual
Technical - Is there a Westleys Bleche White Alternative? from my old stock of whestleys , main ingredient ,Tri Sodium Phosphate ( TSP) they removed it in the new formula ( replaced with sodium meta silicate ) , and the store TSp is not true tsp its its EDTA and sodium meta silicate , I clean tires with a SOS pad as there is caustic in the soap and it cleans them good
