氧化物

氧化物

Oxide \Ox"ide\ ([o^]ks"[i^]d or [o^]ks"[imac]d), n. [F.
oxyg[`e]ne oxygen acide acid: cf. F. oxyde. The French word
was correctly spelt oxide, till about the year 1840, when, in
ignorance or forgetfulness of the true history and
composition of the word, the orthography was change to make
it represent the [upsilon] of Gr. 'oxy`s, from which it was
supposed to be directly derived.] (Chem.)
A binary compound of oxygen with an atom or radical, or a
compound which is regarded as binary; as, iron oxide, ethyl
oxide, nitrogen oxide, etc.
[1913 Webster]

Note: In the chemical nomenclature adopted by Guyton de
Morveau, Lavoisier, and their associates, the term
oxides was made to include all compounds of oxygen
which had no acid (F. acide) properties, as contrasted
with the acids, all of which were at that time supposed
to contain oxygen. The orthography {oxyde}, {oxyd},
etc., was afterwards introduced in ignorance or
disregard of the true etymology, but these forms are
now obsolete in English. The spelling {oxid} is not
common.
[1913 Webster] oxidise

  • How do you write a kids short story lt;1000 words and make it . . . - Reddit
Like any story Protagonist, goal, conflict Of course, for young children, the premise you use should probably be something more suitable for them For example, the story could be about a curious bunny exploring the backyard The conflict also should not actually be scary, but it should still be there
  • Dog thinks the moon is a ball : r AnimalsBeingDerps - Reddit
:) Basically the tides-axis is not exactly aligned with the moon-earth axis due to the rotation of earth around it's own axis This leads to an exchange of angular momentum between earth and moon (in "favor" of the moon) The higher angular moment of the moon around the earth moves it to a higher orbit with a lower oribtal speed
  • How do you master storytelling from an animals perspective
Part of the issue may be the premise--there is a lot of comedy inherent in "the dog protagonist worships a ball," and comedy is ALSO typecast as children's media often, so you may be shooting yourself in the foot a little That being said, if you believe in a story, you SHOULD WRITE IT
