Alembic Club at Talk Bass | Page 240 | TalkBass. com Honestly, I LOVE having the (external) power supply as I never worry about batteries I even had Alembic mount a 5-pin input output jack on my Signature Deluxe MK 5 string, so I do not ever have to be concerned with them (batteries)! Biggest thing I miss about not having a Series bass anymore

Talk me out of the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 700 - TalkBass. com It looks really nice, but it's a different concept-- for some reason they decided to make a full-featured bass head instead of a "pedal platform" like the powerstage 700 (which is basically a power amp with a simple 3-band EQ) I found this a bit perplexing, as more bassists have been using separate preamps and power amps for quite a bit longer than guitarists, generally speaking

TC BQ500 Gig Review - TalkBass. com So, I did a gig on Friday at the lovely La Mesa Wine Works A quick thank you to them They are a great venue staffed with great folks In lieu of the usual gig report (it went well) I wanted to drop a review of TC's dirt-cheap BQ500 "Thrust" bass head, as I bought one as a backup and wanted
EDEN WT400. . . talk to me about this amp. - TalkBass. com Great amp It's been replaced by the new WT550, that is very similar with a little more power Remember that cab efficiency and size has as much to do or more with being loud enough that amp with an efficient 4ohm 410 would be loud enough by far for the types of gigs you are talking about A lower efficiency cab or a small 210 or 112 probably not
Talk me down (HX Stomp)!! | TalkBass. com If it were me I'd stick with the Zoom and spend the money to supplement that with things like a pedal board, power supply, or dedicated stomp boxes I kind of built my board around my Zoom MS-60 by learning what I like and don't like, or need and don't need, and then getting stomp boxes from there to free up the workload on the MS-60 so I can use it for different stuff
Lets talk about the Guild Starfire II - TalkBass. com I have major GAS and I'm starting a thread So it goes Here's what I know: The Starfire is a 30 75" scale but needs medium scale strings No worries, I play LaBella LTFs and they come in medium scale The nut is 1 5" which is perfect for me It's gigantic but sounds thunderous Questions
